Located at 3 Doctors Park # E, Asheville, NC 28801, Magnolia Mountain Dentistry operates as a dentist serving Asheville in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Asheville, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across North Carolina, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. Typical hours are 8 am–4 pm. It is closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Magnolia Mountain Dentistry at (828) 251-1399; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is magnoliamountaindentistry.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 298 reviews, which is a strong result for a dentist in Asheville and suggests consistent service.

Asheville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Asheville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My first appointment at Mountain Magnolia and I was very pleased. The entire team were very professional and friendly. They found a fractured tooth that would soon be a serious problem. We just moved back to the area and so pleased with our new dentist team.

Having needed sedation for dental work for 30 years, I now realize what I really need is a GENTLE dentist. They took the time to get to know a new patient, asking questions and listening to my concerns. I was allowed to view my x-rays and everything was explained like I was an educated adult. Warm blankets, water, lip balm, dark glasses... every effort was made to make me comfortable. I needed 6 shots for numbing and I didn't feel it at all. The procedure was over quickly and I felt no pain. The bill was half of what they said it could be, and much less than I have been paying. The doctor called the next day to check on me. These women are kind, compassionate and highly skilled professionals. I am so happy to have found Magnolia Mountain Dentistry!

This office charges OVER DOUBLE what MANY other offices in town charge (when paying out of pocket) for care that is EGREGIOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL & UNETHICAL. They sent FIVE messages to remind me of the date & time of my appt only to call the morning of & "ask" me to change the time of the appt knowing full well that I couldn't say No because this appt hinges on a gum surgery that's already scheduled & their dental office is closed two days a week (per the front desk staff) so they couldnt reschedule for another day. They also let me know that the dentist wasnt going to be able to see me that day, even though the dentist is required to be in the office at the time of the cleaning. So she charges OVER DOUBLE what other dentists charge, and then I had to SPECIFICALLY REQUEST to see the dentist...at a dentist appt. They acted like I was crazy for wanting to see the dentist...at a dentist appt. Never in my life have I been to a dentists office where the dentist doesn't want to see the patient after a dental cleaning, ESPECIALLY when the patient is headed for gum surgery the following week. The regular cleaning took 2 full hours bc it was a temp doing it & she told me she charges $50/hou

Highly recommend MMD. The staff is kind, takes the time to answer your questions (and find the answers if they don’t know them), and care about the patient experience. I came to MMD as I was looking for an airway dentist & dentistry practice that is more holistically oriented. Dr. Gates & the team do not push getting devices or treatments that are not needed. I love that they ask from the beginning what your considerations and concerns are (ex price, comfort, time, etc) when making dental decisions. Dental work can be stressful and/or traumatic for people, MMD does everything they can to make it as comfortable as possible. They offer things like blankets, essential oils, and choice of music to make your experience more comfortable and are aware of things that could be challenging for the patient. The team clearly explains things, will pause and slow down as needed, and check-in with patients frequently during treatments. Highly recommend!

A Dentist’s Office, in the past, was normally something I would dread. There just were not many plus sides to the experience. My last cavity was filled about 15-20 years ago. And, it was not a good experience with my nasal passage also being numbed. That memory came flooding back today. But, I should not have worried! Today’s experience was much different. Dr. Gates is extremely skilled, and I had absolutely no issues with my face feeling numb. She and Theresa were extremely patient, calming & provided whatever I needed from soft music, water & blanket to help me relax. They explained each step of the cavity being filled, so I knew what to expect. The process was very smooth and went faster than I expected. Amanda was excellent in cleaning my teeth & explaining care routines for home. I have found a dental home, and without any reservation, can enthusiastically recommend this practice. Thank you all for a pleasant experience!
